About our instruments
„100% Made in Germany“
Our portatives and positives are crafted in our own workshop with excellent craftsmanship from selected European woods and the highest quality materials, which have proven their worth in organ building for centuries.
Loving design and design, perfect workmanship, high stability with minimal weight, maximum value retention and reliability as well as innovative solutions are just a few of the features of our instruments played worldwide.
Based on the portative types of the Gothic and early Middle Ages, as well as long-standing contacts with active musicians, well-known medieval ensembles as well as representatives of jazz, the medieval pop and crossover scene, we have developed these basic, different sized portative models, which have been used everywhere for years prove themselves to the world.
Some of our instruments are also available with wooden pipes.
In addition to the full-fledged, precise and smooth-running keyboard, we also offer some models with a simple button keyboard based on the early medieval model.
Some of our portative are available immediately; or you can let us know your ideas for a portative or positive according to your wishes. Replicas based on old sources, e.g. with “pigeon owl scale” and Pythagorean tuning, are also always a welcome challenge.
Gothic organ positives are created entirely according to your wishes. We would be happy to advise you on this.
Whatever you decide, you will enjoy your new “Wolkenstayn” instrument for many, many years.
You can find a brief overview of the special features of our instruments under “All features”.
As artistically active craftsmen, we do not offer price lists. We would be happy to discuss with you the most suitable instrument for your music and budget; We would be happy to make you an individual offer and look forward to receiving yours
With musical greetings!
